Thanks to the ‘wizardry’ of our Wizard mat cutter, we can cut great mats like these to help you show off your pet (see a short video called “The Wizard cuts a multi-opening mat” right here on our site to see how mats are cut).

These double mats were developed as a charitable project to support the “Peace of Mind” Dog Rescue in Pacific Grove, but are now available at our store for only $85 each (includes the frame and glass and is ready to hang).  You can customize the colors or add a name for an additional charge.

In this youtube movie Carla is seen setting up the wizard computerized mat cutter to cut a mat with multiple openings.  Without the wizard mat cutter she would have spent lots of time drawing the arrangement on the back of the mat and then manually cutting each opening – a very time-consuming and costly (for the customer) operation which is prone to error.  With this mat cutter, the cuts are technically perfect and the time savings are passed on to the customer.

The first thing you see is Carla changing the blade on the cutter and then putting the mat board into the machine for cutting.  The whole process then is automatic, including cutting the mat to the proper size to fit into the frame.

Shadowbox of 2010 USA National Team basketball

This wonderful piece of memorabilia will be treasured by its owner for years to come.  Purchased at a charity auction, this basketball was autographed by the team members of the 2010 USA National Team.

The ball was set on a ring to make it stable and the ring was then mounted to a custom colored mat board.  A photo of the team was also included and displayed through the custom cut mat.

Now the owner of this sports art piece can proudly display it and share the story with friends and family.
